JavaScript Job: Jr. Dot Net Developer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

· · Translate wireframes and Designs into functional websites/web applications

· · Collaborate with internal teams to review and write code based on software design documents.

· · Develop code modules with the ASP.NET, JavaScript React, Angular JavaScript frameworks and design/architectural patterns, e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)

· · Develop/execute automated unit tests, deploy and, troubleshoot environment related issues for applications developed using .NET and SQL technologies

· · Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

· · Provide technical support on applications developed

Required Skills:

· · The team is weighting the JavaScript and React heavily to round out the team.

· · Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another business-related field

· · 2 + years of experience in ASP.NET, ASP.NETMVC, C#, and JavaScript knowledge and proficiency developing on Microsoft platforms, frameworks, and tools (Visual Studio, .NET 3.5/4.0 Framework, ASP.NET, ASP.NETMVC, C#, LINQ, AJAX, ASMX and WCF Web Services, and ADO.NET) and Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, HTML5/CSS3/SCSS

· · Experience with Agile methodologies

· · Experience using MS Office Products especially Access and Excel

· · Experience working with git version control in a collaborative team environment, creating pull requests, and performing code reviews

· · Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

· · Attention to detail

Desired Skills:

· · Experience with REST APIs, SQL Queries

· · Experience building automated unit test scripts using NUnit/XUnit

· · Knowledge of CICD / DEVOPS; Code pipeline, code build and code deploy

· · Experience in working with cloud technologies like AWS

· · Proficiency using Jira / Confluence

· · Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, fast-paced, and complex environment with teams supporting two-week sprints

· · Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary

· · Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, and a responsible team-player

· · Strong communication skills, both written and oral

· Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $37.62 - $72.86 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• AWS: 1 year (Preferred)
• ASP.NET: 1 year (Preferred)
• APIs: 1 year (Preferred)
